General Question For Patients and Doctors

OCD is a platform that connects doctors with patients through secure online consultations. Doctors can offer their medical services and expertise without the need to own and operate a physical clinic of their own.

Patients can book appointments through our OCD platform. At the scheduled time, the consultation takes place via video call and chat. After the session, doctors can provide prescriptions through e-prescriptions, medical advice or referral as needed online.

No, there is no necessity for doctors to own and operate their clinics. OCD will provide the necessary infrastructure, including telemedicine software, appointment management, payment processing, and integration to pharmacy, laboratory facilities, insurance companies and third party administrators.

OCD will start the service in the Klang Valley initially where multiple ampullary clinics and centres will be set up in various parts of the Klang Valley to serve the patients and the doctors who will practise there. Later this service will be expanded to various cities and towns like Penang, Johor Baru and Ipoh.

Doctors have the flexibility to set their own fees based on experience and specialization. However there are guidelines provided by the Ministry of Health regarding fees that can charged by General Medical Practitioners and by Medical Specialists in Malaysia.

Payments are processed through our secure payment system and transferred to your linked bank account or digital wallet at regular intervals.

Yes. Our OCD platform provides an integrated e-prescription system.

You can issue referrals through the platform, directing them to the clinic or centre where you have reserved examination rooms facilities.

Yes. In fact by joining OCD, there is no necessity for you to set up and operate your own clinic. Medical consultations are conducted online by you with your patients, and if there is any necessity to examine the patients, you direct them to the examining rooms in the OCD clinic or center you reserved. Therefore you save the cost of setting up and operating a clinic (the rental cost , the salaries of your clinic staff, electricity and water bill, clinic upkeep , etc). OCD will provide all the clinic facilities and shoulder all the expenses.

Yes. Our platform complies with strict privacy and security regulations to protect patient information.

If you are paying in cash, payments can be made securely via credit/debit card, digital wallets, or other accepted methods before the consultation with the doctor. If you are under the medical coverage of a Third Party Administrator or Insurance Company, the system will verify whether you are legitimately under their coverage and the amount of coverage you are entitled to.

Yes. Your doctor will send e-prescription to the pharmacy at the OCD clinic or centre. You can go and collect the medicine, paying for it at the OCD clinic or centre. The medicine can also be delivered to you by courier, the cost of the transport to be borne by you.
